With the 7th edition coming to an end, the World Sports for All Games TAFISA Lisbon 2021 kept the stage at the Belem Tower garden for the closing ceremony.
In an emotional moment, even though filled with an empty audience, the hymn "A Portuguesa" was heard through the voice of the fado singer Inês Vasconcellos, which certainly gave chills to all the spectators that followed the online broadcast.
Then, the best moments of the recordings at the schools that participated in this Portuguese edition of the TAFISA games were shown.
The Folkzitas group gave us two more performances, intercalated with the closing speech by the president of the Portuguese Institute for Sports and Youth, Vítor Pataco.
To deliver the Portuguese flag, a couple representing AREPA's Ethnographic Ranch from Porto Alto, Santarem, were invited, and they safely handed over the national colors, along with IPDJ's president, Vítor Pataco, to the Russian representative present at the ceremony, Ekaterina Spitsyna, Head of the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Portuguese Republic.
The ceremony closed the Portuguese edition of the TAFISA Games with the broadcasting of the presentation video of the Russian delegation, which will host the 8th edition of the World Sports for All Games TAFISA in 2024.
